Milwaukee Yamaha head to Oulton Park this Bank Holiday weekend (4/5/6 May) with have high hopes for the third round of the MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship as the Cheshire circuit has traditionally proven to be a strong event for the team.

Australian double Superbike champion Josh Waters is looking to bounce back from his high-speed Thruxton crash on his debut at Oulton Park having completed some laps of the circuit in a recent test. Waters has claimed a top ten finish this season and is now ready to make amends for missing out at the previous round.

Waters said: “It has been a few weeks since the last round so I can’t wait to get going again this weekend. We have been lucky to do some testing since Thruxton and that included some laps of Oulton Park so at least I can start the weekend knowing where I am going! For me Oulton Park is a great track; the elevation changes are more than you expect them to be after watching last year’s round on DVD.  Hopefully the tests we have had since the last round means we can be in a better position for this weekend and we can have some good finishes for the Milwaukee Yamaha team.”
