Tyco Suzuki's Josh Brookes is becoming increasingly frustrated with the Isle of Man weather after tonight's practice session was all but rained off.

The British Superbike title contender, who set the first night newcomer record on Saturday, has only managed six laps so far and this evening's were in the wet so the Bringelly man said he didn't learn anything more.

All I want to do is get out there and get learning, the more laps I can do the better. I'm under no pressure here but you want to be as well practiced as you can be for the race. I am looking for that sense of safety with more laps. I can understand the organisers wanting to keep everyone as safe as possible though," said Brookes, speaking to bikesportnews.com this evening.

"I thought tonight we would get some time in but it just ended up frustrating again. The rear was spinning up in a straight line coming out of places like the Gooseneck and it was like riding on ice. I don't need to fiddle with the bikes, they are fine, it's time in the seat to get things more fixed in my head."
