Season under way for Pedrosa in Qatar

Repsol Honda's Dani Pedrosa made the most of the 45minute FP1 session on a very dirty track. Dani, who had issues with corner entry, was 8th fastest with a 1'57.749 on his final lap of 17 and remained on the same tyre for the session.

"Today wasn't our best day. We weren't able to ride well with the bike, because I had a little issue on corner entry. That's why we didn't get better lap times. We hope that things go better tomorrow and that we can get better one-off times again"
