MCE British Superbike Championship bosses have released dramatic race control CCTV footage of the crash that ruled Tyco BMW's Davide Giugliano out of action for this afternoon's second free practice session.
The former WSB star went down heavily on entry to Graham Hill bend mid-way through the first free practice, taking a battering as he and his bike hit the safety barrier. While he was up and walking, he was taken to the medical centre for checks where he was cleared of serious injury, but opted to sit out of the afternoon session as a precaution. He'll be re-assessed before tomorrow morning's FP3.
