After the ultimate high of winning the opening British Supersport race of the season with Stuart Easton just 24-hours previous, the Mar-Train Racing team had the misfortune of suffering two non-finishes in today's second Supersport encounter at Brands Hatch in Kent.

Stuart Easton was in the leading group early on in race two, but crashed out on lap nine of 26 after momentarily losing concentration and clipping a kerb on his R6 Yamaha.

Stuart Easton:

"Obviously I'm gutted to DNF after such a good start yesterday. It was a frustrating race as the pace was slower than yesterday and I was getting held up by the battles in front of me. I made a rookie error and clipped a kerb, but the weekend as a whole was positive and the potential for the rest of the year is massive. I'm glad to get away from here and on to more flowing tracks which will suit me better."

Tim Martin – Team Principal:

"Today has been majorly disappointing but these things happen and there are 22 races left this year. We're heading to Thruxton with a win under our belts so we have already proven we have the pace for the season ahead."

The Motorpoint British Supersport series continues this coming weekend at Thruxton for races three and four in the championship.
