Lee Johnston has been taken to hospital with a suspected broken collarbone after crashing during qualifying for the 2016 Ulster Grand Prix.

The Irishman was riding the 250cc Honda he had planned to race at this year’s Classic TT but crashed at the hairpin and his participation on the Isle of Man is in serious doubt.

Paddock rumour has already placed Gary Johnson in the seat as a replacement should Johnston not be in shape to ride.
