British Superbike star Jack Kennedy has been released from his Team WD-40 contract and will race for the Agro On Benjan Kawasaki team at the final two FIM Superstock 1000 rounds starting in France this weekend.

Kennedy has had a difficult time in BSB this season and was pulled out of on-track action by team boss Brent Gladwin at Donington but will line-up at Magny-Cours this weekend with the new team.

“I’m really looking forward to this new challenge and excited by the prospect of riding in the FIM Superstock 1000 championship for Agro-On Benjan Kawasaki. I’m back racing which is not just important for me but also for my loyal sponsors and supporters who have been behind me all the way,” said Kennedy.

“The prospect of sitting out the rest of the season when I’m fit and ready to race was pretty daunting and I’m thankful to GR Motosport for their permission and to Rob Vennegoor for his perseverance to make this possible. I just can’t wait to get out there now, let’s go racing.”
