The high and lows of racing, seems we experienced them all in three days but what a great weekend it was.

John got off to a great start and by the end of day one we had found fast laps in both wet and dry conditions. Day two was tough with Practice in the morning, Qualifying at lunchtime and a race later in the day. We knew we could make an impresssion here at Silverstone and were out to prove it. John had a good qualifying session until he tiped off in the final part leaving us to start 8th on the grid for race 1. He set the fastest sector times for half the lap before coming off and those times stood throughout the weekend, we knew we could have been front row but this was not to matter as we started race 1 John had a great start in the wet conditions and battled with the leaders from start to finish, eventually bringing the Moto Rapido Ducati home in 3rd place!!

Sunday was a busy day, lots of garage tours from Ducati UK and various team sponsors returned to watch John repeat his performance from Saturday. Different conditions in the first race of the day, John got a great start and pushed hard from the beginning trying to get ahead of the following group but we had made a wrong tyre choice and John dropped back to 10th.

In Race 2 of the day the heavens opened and we saw some awful track conditions with riders falling each lap, we were to be no exception a few laps from the end John highsided out of 6th place.

The team are very happy with the results from the weekend and we now have a quick turn around in preperation for Oulton Park this coming weekend.
