Pata Honda's Leon Haslam is back to full fitness ahead of his next set of tests at Aragon and Alcarras following an operation to repair nerves in his leg.

After Haslam broke his leg at Phillip Island in 2012, nerves in his leg were damaged in the operation to remove the the screws which bolted in the supporting metalwork but that has now been remedied and the pain has gone.

"I got one nerve removed an one repaired from when I broke my leg last year in Australia. One of the nerves was trapped in the hole that was there when the screw was removed, one of the other nerve was damaged with the removal of the screw," said Haslam.

"It's something that's been annoying me since Christmas, I had a lot of pain through it. The strength and everything have been there, it's just been quite frustrating because I wasn't able to train like I wanted to. I just wait for the scar to stick together and once it happens it'll be back to normal."
