Tyco BMW’s Davide Giugliano will sit out the second MCE British Superbike free practice session at the Brands Hatch Indy circuit, after a crash in the opening free practice this morning, meaning he will not take part in any track action for the rest of the day. The former World Superbike star experienced a big crash at Graham Hill Bend, with sixteen minutes remaining to FP1. The session was red flagged as repairs had to be made to the air fencing. Giugliano walked away from the incident and is feeling a bit sore, but will now miss FP2 as a precaution and will be assessed by medical staff at the track tomorrow before the final free practice session on Sunday morning.
