ARAI SPONSORED RIDERS AND DRIVERS SEASON 2017
The support of a wide selection of top riders has always been one of the strong selling points of Arai. The fact that professional riders and racers both in MotoGP and in Formula One prefer Arai helmets (plus the fact that they use the same helmet any customer can buy) makes Arai stand out in the business. For the upcoming season, Arai supports riders in all main classes, from MotoGP to WSS300, from WSBK to MX2, Arai is present.

NEW Arai supported riders

Moto 3
• Romano Fenati. The temperamentful but also very talented Italian rider will be riding for the Ongetta team, wearing the Arai RX-7V helmet.
• Patrik Pulkkinen. This young Finnish rider has a very promising career in racing ahead. Also Patrik will be wearing the latest Arai RX-7V helmet.


MX2
• Pauls Jonass. This rider from Latvia will help KTM to dominate in the 250cc class. His start this season was fantastic, winning both manches of the BeWise Hawkstone Park International 2017 wearing his Arai MX-V helmet.
• Julien Lieber. After a disastrous 2016 season, the Belgian rider and MX-V user has made an impressive comeback by winning the 2017 opening F.M.I. Internazionali D’Italia Italian championship round.


Enduro
• Adrien van Beveren. This French enduro ace almost won the prestigious Le Touquet beach race, where only a last bend crash prevented an well deserved victory. Adrien is winning races since 2002, finished 4th in the Rallye Dakar and is considered to be one of the very best enduro and rally rider present. Adrien is wearing the off road Arai MX-V helmet. 


WSS 600
• Lucas Mahias. With start number 144, this French RX-7V rider will be competing for the GRT Yamaha Official WorldSSP Team in the WSS600 class. In 2016 Lucas took the fourth position in the Superstock 1000 final standings. 

Ajo Motorsport Academy

This racing academy from Finnish manager Aki Ajo has scored remarkable results. Ajo Motorsport were protagonists in each of the World Championship classes, with Red Bull KTM Ajo in Moto3, Ajo Motorsport Team in Moto2 and as manager of several MotoGP riders and Patrik Pulkkinen in Moto3.
In 2016 the Finnish structure has added a new and exciting project to their portfolio: Ajo Motorsport Academy in CEV PreMoto3, with riders Barry Baltus and Adrian Fernandez. In 2017 Ajo Ice Camp was introduced. This initiative will be in charge of educating young riders technically, mentally and physically for the leap up to the World Championship. Arai will be helmet partner in this promising project and will provide the academy with helmet racing knowhow and gear.
