The company philosophy is not a flashy one; it simply revolves around dedication and the devotion to produce high quality helmets. Each Arai is a hand-made state-of-the-art item - an Arai RX-7 Corsair for instance takes more than 10 hours of skilled craftsmanship to produce and each has its own birth certificate that contains a large amount of data, while details of every Arai going back two decades are kept on file.

The roll call of motorcycle racers who have worn and wear Arai is a long one. Back in 1983 Freddie Spencer won Arai their first world championship in the 500cc GP class and the names that followed are motorcycling legends: Schwantz, Doohan, Mamola, Harada, Gibernau, Sakata, Dunlop, Edwards, Hayden, Pedrosa. Equally, at the pinnacle of car racing and in all other forms of four-wheeled competition, the roll-call of Arai wearers is just as illustrious.
