How do I change my motorcycle visor?
To remove the visor, first place it in the fully open position. The visor cannot be removed from any other position as the lock system will be engaged. When the shield is in its fully open position, levers deploy from the front edge of the side pods. Pull up on these levers until a click is heard and this releases the visor from the mechanism (do not continue to pull on the levers), and the visor can be pulled straight out.

Once the visor has been removed insert a non-marking implement (Arai have a specific tool for this that is supplied in their maintenance kit with certain models but an ice lolly stick will suffice) between the helmet shell and holder pressing the red retaining clip back releasing the holder. To re-fit the holder, insert the top clip into the recess on the base plate and press firmly over the red clip until a click is heard. Check by pulling on holder before re-fitting the visor.
What should I clean my helmet and visor with?
Arai only recommend the use of a mild soap solution, warm water and a soft cloth. A non-petroleum based wax polish can then be applied to the helmets outer shell.
